Connecting the countless moments of choice and decisions, It becomes a new way of living together among people. [Drive] expressed the confession of the time experienced through the space that the artist has passed in the process of preparing a documentary work.

The documentary captures the artist's confession about the moments experienced through the spaces they have traversed during the preparation of their work. While driving along the road, gazing at mist-covered mountain landscapes, and observing the waves of the sea, the documentary conveys ever-changing emotions through the diverse and unfamiliar landscapes and people encountered on Jeju Island. "The material called light was considered artificial. The spaces where that light disappeared, the deserted rural roads, are sometimes frightening but occasionally filled," begins the narration, guiding us into dark island nights and fog-filled paths. The camera following the road serves as our perspective, and through the monologues that flow in rhythm with it, the documentary delves into the countless moments of choices and decisions we are currently making and the emotions behind them. It's like a whirlpool of contradictory emotions, mirroring the eddies in our hearts. We are peering into one corner of that conflict.

드라이브는 다큐멘터리 작품을 준비하는 과정에서 작가가 지나온 공간을 통해 경험한 시간에 대한 고백을 담았다.

도로를 따라가는 동안, 산등성이의 안개 자욱한 풍경을 내려다보는 순간, 바다의 파도 등

제주에서 만난 자연의 모습, 사람의 모습, 다양하고 낯선 풍경을 통해 매 순간 달라지는 감정을 전달한다.

“빛이라는 재료는 인공의 것이라 여겼다. 그 빛이 사라진 공간, 아무도 없는 시골길은 두렵지만 때로 충만하다.”로 시작하는 내레이션은 빛이 없는 어두운 섬의 밤, 안개 가득한 길로 우리를 인도한다.

길을 따라가는 카메라는 시선이며, 그 리듬에 따라 흘러나오는 독백을 통해 현재의 우리가 진행하는 무수한 선택의 순간과 결정의 시간을, 그 마음을 들여다보았다.

양가적 감정의 모순을 그대로 표현하는 물웅덩이 같은 마음의 소용돌이. 우리는 그 갈등의 한 켠을 들여다보고 서 있다.
